Saturday 6th March 2010...

getting some work ready for the next Morningside Makers Market in Edinburgh. I have a new unframed piece
these are a few few images of it.

These are some of the little Easter rabbit cards that I've been working on to take along to the craft fair. I should have been concentrating on Mothers' day but I thought I'd better do something for Easter because it's early this year. My flower brooches will be ok for "M" day so that's not so bad at least I have something that fits the occassion!.
Back soon,
Moira.

flower brooches...

a few images of my latest flower brooches. I've been making them for a while now and am amazed that they're still popular. They're free machine embroidered and beaded.
I was thinking about using my little textile squares in a different way and decided to try them in a threesome. I'm quite pleased with how they look. I've made up a couple as unframed pieces for now. I was just trying them out in a frame when I took the picture.
This piece is a detail from another unframed textile panel. I'll show more pieces like this when I get things organised.
I have been playing about adding my name to these photos as you can see. I don't know if it's worth it or if I'll be able to change them once I've published this post so you may see more next time or not!
That's it for now. back soon!

HELLO & WELCOME !

Welcome to my new blog!
A new year a new decade a new me!!!

I've decided to move things along a bit and attend craft fairs and have an etsy shop.

I attended my first craft fair on Saturday which was great fun. It was the Morningside Makers Market which will be held on the first Saturday of every month.
Here is a picture of my stall first thing in the morning.

I took along some framed and unframed textile pieces as well as some cards, brooches and bags.
These are the kind of things I intend having in my etsy shop which I hope to open soon.
You can see another picture of my stall on the Morningside Makers blog.
Back soon,
Moira
