Here goes...I'm back!!!

I've managed to upload a photograph at long last...had to get a new laptop!!!

Hopefully this year will see the beginning of some interesting things going on in my stitched world, no idea what, but thought that it sounded good.

I have signed up to take part in the Documented Life Project so I hope to start posting little snippets from that as the year progresses.This doesn't fall into the category of stitching but it'll be good fun I'm sure. Also I'll be sharing some photos from my studio, all going well that is.

It's taken me ages to get this all up and running so will go just now but will be back very soon with links to the DLP (above), Facebook and Pinterest.

I look forward to joining you all again soon...that is if there is still anyone out there who's interested in my little snippets. If you've made it here then thank you for dropping by and I wish you a very Happy New Year.

PS. The photo above shows some results from my gelatine printing. Ok not stitching but great fun all the same...it should come with a government health warning...it's addictive!

Pittenweem Arts Festival 2014

Halfway through Pittenweem Arts Festival week 2014!

Sorry I've been absent this year, I keep trying to upload photos and failing miserably, something isn't right.

I've been popping things on my Facebook page so until I get this resolved you'll find me there.

The festival is on until 10th August .

Pittenweem on show...

Obviously not the clocks or the 'LOVE', wish I'd bought it, it's great!

My area within Funky Scottish at Pittenweem this year. The Arts Festival which started on Saturday is in full swing. It's been very busy, probably helped along by the good weather which is lovely.

The festival is on until Sunday 11th August, hope you can make it.

Pittenweem Arts Festival 2013

Hi Folks, just a quick update to remind you about the Pittenweem Arts Festival. This year it runs from Saturday 3rd August to Sunday 11th August 2013. I'm with Funky Scottish again this year and you'll find us on the High Street at venue No. 9.

I'll probably be there most days so pop in and say hello.

Ladybank Classes...

Couldn't resist taking this photo of the cute little shed at the bottom of the garden, well, next to the gate really. You can just see where the community garden is to be laid out in the background.

 

Back to business...

My embroidery class will be starting on Tuesday 14th May 2013. I will be running two classes one in the morning and one in the evening. More info later.

 

I've also set up a Facebook page which I'll add here when I can work it out!

Ladybank...in full swing!

Had a great day at Ladybank today, lots of great company, visitors and chat... well rather a lot of chatting I have to say. Mostly about embroidery which is right up my street with lots of interest in my new classes at the Arthouse, great!

Thanks to 'The Busy Thistle' who kindly asked permission to take a photo of my cushion. you'll find it on her blog here,. She's also got some great views of the Scottish mountains, I came over all Harry Potter on a few of them! :o))

Ladybank, Fife - classes

Hi everyone, back at last!

 

Great news ...I will be starting 'stitch 'n' craft' classes at Off The Rails Arthouse in Ladybank, just next to the station on Tuesday 14th May 2013. We'll be exploring basic embroidery stitches to start with.

 The Arthouse will be open this weekend Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th and Monday 6th May and I will be there in the afternoons on Saturday and Sunday then all day on the Monday. I'll be taking names for my two classes which will be running on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am and from 7pm to 9pm.  

 

I will be adding more exciting news very soon...watch this space... I also hope to have a Facebook page up and running next week sometime

All a bit frantic at the moment but great fun.
